Apologies. I gave you Patrina’s time. Correct now. However, Chris “Rockets” Bowman does have a certain ring to it.

    Hello all you lovely people!
You may have noticed there is a list on the whiteboard for people interested in doing Stampede (http://brisbane.thestampede.com.au/). Stampede is a 10km or 5km obstacle course where you get really muddy and wet. How fun! It’s on the 8th of Sept in Woodford and it’s PERFECT for cross fitters.
We’re going to register a team and spots are quickly selling out so I’m getting on to it today! It’s $80 for the 10km. I am going to register a team for the 10km (even though I’ve never run 10km’s in my life :/ – may as well do it hardcore if at all!). If you’re interested, all you need to do is log in using the email and password I start for the team and add your details and pay! So if you are keen, email me (bianca.crow91 at gmail.com) and I’ll give you the secret detes 😉
Oh and we need a team name… Suggestions? (before I come up with something ridiculous that you’ll all laugh at)

Just to confirm, it’s $80 per person and there are no bounds on team size. >20 gets an overall discount of 10%.

So I’m going to reply to my own comment again and suggest we stay consistant with our team naming conventions and call ourselves “Team BOOM”.. or a variation of? If I don’t here back by 2pm, “Team BOOM” it is! Sorry to put a time limit on – can’t register til we have our name and like I said, don’t wanna miss out!

Every team needs a leader Bianca… Team Boom is awesome!

Well, looking at the history, Team Awesome wasn’t so awesome last year but Team Boom boomed. Trent, weren’t you in Team Awesome with me? Dunno what went wrong there then.

and .. *drum roll* .. “Team BOOM” wins!
I have registered. Email me to get details! You know you want to!

I did the mud run in Sydney in 2010 had heaps of fun. Anyone not sure abour doing it – do it they say mud is good for the skin.
These events/goals keep you motivated and fit whilst laughing and having fun with mates at the same time.
      Cheers Sue

Totally agree with you Sue! If you wanna enjoy that AWEsome feeling of achievement, you gotta set yourself goals first!
How is the shin coming along? You are such a trouper Sue. No one has the right to complain about shin scrape-age anymore. Will you be good to go for Sept 8th you reckon? Would love to have ya there.

Jan had completed 36 reps of Power Clean before learning that it was meant to be a squat clean so he completed all 44 Squat Cleans as well.
