Pardon my ignorance but what does RM stand for

Sue, I am happy to pardon your ignorance as often as necessary.
RM = Repetition Maximum (or Rep Max)
So 1RM refers to the heaviest load you can move through the full range of motion in any given exercise in a single repetition. A 5RM would be the heaviest load you can sustain across 5 reps of a given exercise.
It’s also important to differentiate between your 1RM and your PR (Personal Record) or PB (Personal Best. In Australia we tend to call it your PB but it is more common in America to call it your PR as your best is yet to come.)
Your RM is your best effort on any given day. It may or may not also be your PR for that exercise. The point is that you do your best at the time and if that happens to be better than you’ve achieved before that’s great, if not, so be it.
I hope that all makes sense.

      Corrected.
A flawless performance of stealth, efficiency and strength. I do seem to recall talking to someone about shirts at about 5pm but I think they erased my memory.
