    Hi everyone
    Today is the end of week 1 of the healthy habits challenge. Can everyone please write their score out of 7 on the whiteboard under the column for week 1. If you are away from the gym and cannot do this then please post your score on the website or to me personally by email so that your score can still go up.
    Just a couple of other points too:
    If you are stuck and have no other choice….I will allow you to choose bacon or other ham products over ham off the bone (for example you are at a breakfast function and there’s no other choice). However, this CANNOT occur on a daily basis. More like once per week!
    If you are forced to eat food which is considered to be a preferred option according to the challenge (such as meat and veggies) but it has a sauce on it that may not agree entirely with the rules of this challenge then I will accept this also (for example you are out at dinner and order steak and veggies and low and behold, it is presented beautifully with a sauce on top!)
    If you are cooking healthy snacks and need to use baking soda, cinnamon, vanilla essence, a bit of honey……this is fine also!
    If you put a dollop of yoghurt on your fruit but you are worried it will go over your daily dairy dosage…..your excused!
    If you want to eat two slices of cheese INSTEAD of dark chocolate go for it BUT only two slices!
    Please remember the purpose behind the challenge – good health, positive choices and mostly clean food. It is NOT perfect eating however, unless you want to try the strict paleo diet?
    Good work on completing the first week. Let’s go for an even better second week and get the results we are after!

      If you are a coffee addict and two a day is a ridiculous prospect, I will accept it?
      Nah, just kidding. Two per day – cant believe how easy it’s been.

        Rooibos tea is completely caffeine free, and makes for a nice coffee/tea substitute. It saved my life when I did a 100% caffeine-free month last December.
        All the same… damn I miss my milky coffees…
