Campbell came to CrossFit some months ago to help condition himself for his Ultra-marathon running. He has gone about his business in the gym quietly and determinedly, much like his life outside the gym. He has run some relatively short distances since joining (eg. 56 kms in 6 hours) and is now about to embark on his primary quest – the 100km Tarawera Ultra-Marathon in New Zealand. http://www.taraweraultra.co.nz/
Campbell works day in, day out, with disadvantaged youths and is in the process of setting up a CrossFit style gym at their school. Check out more of what makes Campbell the champion guy he is and how he is raising funds for MS Queensland:

Posted at 08:55h, 15 MarchHow’s about we take a collection from the CFK crew and donate it to the MS Foundation that Campbell is running for?

Posted at 11:51h, 15 MarchWho said that? Show yourself.

Posted at 09:16h, 15 MarchI have already donated $50 on behalf of CFK. I’ll leave a collection box at the gym, if people want to add to it they are most welcome or they can follow the links provided on the website and donate individually.
I encourage everyone to take a moment to read some of the comments on his facebook page and his official fundraising page.

Posted at 10:25h, 15 MarchSo, WOD 12.4 has muscle ups. Over and out.

Posted at 10:33h, 15 MarchThere’s the small matter of getting through the 150 wall ball and 90 double unders first though – GAME ON!
Jo Genders
Posted at 10:38h, 15 MarchI realised after I posted that my comment might have sounded a bit presumptuous. I hadn’t really read the time properly, so now praying big time I can get through Karen and DUs in 12 mins…

Posted at 11:53h, 15 MarchOnly 1 wall ball required and you are still in the game Jo. I’ll be pleased if I get to do some double unders.

Posted at 17:14h, 15 MarchI’m with you Jeff. I will be lucky to get to the DU’s after the wall balls of death!

Posted at 13:22h, 15 MarchI’m praying to the muscle-up fairy for some kind of miracle to happen overnight!!

Posted at 14:22h, 15 MarchThat’s the difference between the two Jo’s – I’m praying to the wall ball fairy & you’ve already got through those AND the double unders!

Posted at 18:32h, 19 MarchDear Crossfiters
I am speechless after reading Jim’s comment & seeing all the support I have recieved, wow!
I am now back in Brissie after an amazing trip back to NZ & an experience that will live on with me for along time. I managed to cross the line in just over 13 hours & we were blessed with a stunning day & breathtaking scenery. For those interested, I will be writing a reflection on my everyday hero site once it had all sunk in.
Now time to cut back the running & up my crossfiting.
Thanks again, it is all very humbling.
