Hey there
Some tips for post C and J body care:
Massage with a lacrosse (or other ball) your upper back muscles (between the shoulder blades and your spine). Can be done against the wall or on the floor depending on the level of pain you wish to endure and how sore you are feeling.
Massage your upper traps (ie your neck) against a door frame or pole.
Massage your pecs against the wall with your palm facing the wall and your hand out to your side approx 30 – 45 degrees.
Massage your triceps using the ball against the wall or the floor.
Then perform the following stretches:
With your hand behind your back, pull your shoulder back and tip your ear to the opposite side stretching the muscles down the side of your neck.
With both hands behind your back, pull your shoulders back and drop your head forward stretching the muscles at the back of the neck.
Place one hand on the wall standing an arms length from the wall and then turn your body away – stretching the pecs and biceps.
Pull one arm overhead with the elbow bent and stretch the triceps.
Now enjoy the freedom in your neck and shoulder movement and if more TLC is required, repeat these over the next 48 hours several times.
See you at the box tomorrow…..AND….HAPPY EASTER!!!!!!
Pizza, choc eggs, banana loaf, too many apples, lots of coffee with full cream double moo and as much wine as I can drink before they ban from the internet (again).
I’m gonna feel the carb cold turkey this week.
Just realised that I am extremely alert – must be all the cappuchinos I worked in today.
Jan is very nervous about the removal of sugar and caffeine from our household….
