I agree Brendan. I like the post game triangle but really need to listen to the advice of the pre game!!! Wow!!! Even as sick as I still feel, when I saw open gym today, I was still thinking if I should come in and give it ago, head pounding and all. Will take the advice of pre game and rest and when I am better just walk through the door.
Jim, you are an amazing athlete and it is shocking to imagine you having a bad workout but also comforting to know it happens to all of us!!
I hope you have a better workout today. See you at the box soon.
P.S. Happy Father’s day to all the dad’s out there!

April – Special Father’s Day prezzie – She let me vacuum the box while she practised her muscle-up progressions. Sigh! Ain’t she somethin?
I am somethin’ else….it’s father’s day EVERY day at our place, so he had to earn his present this time. hahaha!
Besides he likes watching me practice muscle ups………..
Jim, so you were so down on yourself yesterday, that you punish yourself with Badger? Remind me to keep my disappointments to myself lest you start doling out similar punishments…
2pm
Jim – about 10km – about 45 mins (flat course, although our driveway does get a bit steep in places, no crowds) – iphone running app a bit iffy.
Good luck to all the Bridge-to-Brisbanites next weekend. Remember there’s a bbq at our place afterwards. Non-runners welcome too.

Posted at 11:48h, 04 SeptemberMy headspace was all scrambled yesterday, so it was time for me to revisit a few basic mental principles. See you when you’re feeling better.
