Sunday, 06/11/11

There’s a few events coming up that we’d like you to pencil in to your calendars:
A) Saturday, November 26. CrossFit King – End of Year fun day including team WODS, announcement of Paleo Challenge results and BBQ.
B) Thursday, Dec 8 – Brett Wood Hero WOD. As advertised by the poster below, this event is a fundraiser for the Commando Welfare Trust.  On this day, CrossFit HQ will be posting a new Hero WOD in honour of Brett Wood, an outstanding Australian soldier who lost his life during active service in Afghanistan.
Brett is the first Australian to have a Hero WOD posted in his honour, and it is of course an opportunity to recognise the ultimate sacrifice paid by so many of our military throughout history, with added poignancy given recent events overseas and Remembrance Day coming up. We will accept and pass on donations on your behalf or you can donate directly by clicking on the poster link in right sidebar.

If it’s not programmed there are plenty of open gym times when you could smash it out.
