Monday – 8-10am Open Gym
The Healthy Habits information session was held on Saturday and the challenge begins May 1. Of course it’s never too early to start making the changes. Measurements are taken at the gym.
This is a busy session. You may not get time to do all three. Prioritise your time accordingly.
Jerk from the racks
– Strictly 10 sets of two reps
– After warming up on the bar the first set begins at 50% of 1RM. Increment only if both reps were solid. A missed lift counts as a set.
2 x 10m
– 20 second time limit
– 5 second penalty for touching the mats
2 x 10m
– 30 second time limit
– Handles can’t be put down inside the 10m shuttle for the reps to count
