Party Pants Friday – Wear your loudest, most rockin’ exercise dacks.
There are two options for today’s workout.
Option #1 Private Party Pants
– Choose either Group A or Group B and complete a 20 minute AMRAP with those movements.
Option #2 Party Pants Pursuit
– With this option you will challenge another member to a friendly duel. Athlete A, effectively the timekeeper, will complete 3 rounds of the Group A movements while Athlete B performs the Group B movements as an AMRAP. Athlete A records their time on the board while Athlete B notes the number of completed rounds and extra reps. Athletes then swap and the process is repeated. Only the times for 3 rounds of Group A are recorded on the board, the AMRAP score is not recorded on the board but determines the winner of the contest, and therefore who is wearing the most powerful party pants.
Group A movements:
10 Kettlebell Power Cleans (32/24kg)
10 Deadlifts (102.5/70kg)
Group B movements:
3 Handstand Pushups
5 Front Squats (50/35kg)
9 Ring Rows
11 Plank transitions (Thanks to Coach Jess for this new movement)
