A few reminders:
– Leave the coaching to the coaches. As members your support for one another is very important and we encourage you to motivate each other and work together to bring the best out of each other. However, coaching movements, particularly those that involve a high level of skill is not appropriate. If you think that the movement of a fellow member requires attention please ask one of the coaches to assist them.
– Pack up the gear you have used for your workout and leave your space tidy, even if it wasn’t tidy before you got there. The gym was left in a mess this afternoon and the 6pm group had to pack away the gear left lying around by the previous groups. Occasionally we will ask you to leave some gear out for the following groups, but if this is the case it should still be left in an organised and tidy manner.
– Whenever possible please park your car between the Beach Volleyball court and Evans Road or on the kerbside perimeter of the car park. We know this is not always possible but this should not a problem for the early morning and Saturday groups.
– The upstairs room has been provided for you to do general preparation for your workout while there is another class in progress. We are noticing more people are coming down to the gym floor early. This distracts the trainers’ attention and can inadvertantly disrupt the workout of the class members who deserve to have the space to themselves. Please respect the right of your fellow gym members to their allocated hour of training, including stretching time. Occasionally classes run overtime, and when this happens we do our best to allow the following group to access the space safely.
