High intensity interval training is circuit like training performed with intervals of timed work and timed rest. The methodology behind this allows us to work at a higher intensity during short periods of timed work. The class may include use of light DB, KB, medicine balls etc but it DOES NOT include barbell or weight lifting training. HIIT classes are on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7pm.
Anyone can join in to our HIIT classes without prior coaching or CrossFit membership. However, if you are joining us for the first time we would love to hear from you before you turn up so that we may be better prepared to look after you. Your exercise history and experience as well as any medical or current injuries we might need to consider are helpful to know prior to your first session.
Please come along at least 10mins early for your first class to complete the necessary paperwork, ie personal information form and waiver forms.
Please remember to bring your water bottle, a towel and a smile.
HIIT is a community just like CrossFit and we encourage everyone to respect and show support to your fellow classmates. Equipment and space is also shared and must be done thoughtfully.
